The puzzles are not so much about using your brain, but are about trying to aim when the pointer does not point where it will go, and you aimlesly shoot to anywhere (that is if the pointer is even visible).The walking is very slow, even with the fast mode (holding shift with your pinkie for the whole game) it is still too slow.Altogether the gaming experience makes it quite annoying for me, which is sad because the mood calls me back to play but the playability make me stop.. N.E.R.O. has a beautiful but sad story that guides the playe through a mystical and wonderful world. There are puzzels, some of them easy some of them very hard. The atmosphere is thrilling and the music beautiful. The levels are each uniqueThe only annoying thing is that the colorful glowing plants and written storyparts cause me headaches after playing for a while. But that can be diffferent from person to person.I had some soundbugs at the last quater of the game (missing narrator voice after solving the puzzles)All in all is it a nice indiegame with a touching story and some innovative elements.. Got stuck too many times.. Beautifull short walking simulator with a few puzzles which are mostly easy.. Absolutely beautiful. One to play.. The video game business is stuck at the emotional age of twelve but this game is not. Puzzles are not here to slow you down nor challenge you, their are to set a rhytm to the experience. They are like good punctuation in writing, and this is good writing. There is a religious feeling in NERO given by a fine contrast of real tragedy, and surreal hope.. A family whose wardrobe was snuck off the Assassin's Creed set spend hours moping about loss while walking around three fantasy settings (and another on the backlot used in Silent Hill) solving non-challenging puzzles that aren't relevant to the plot.Also, gnocchi is only served on Thursdays.Rating: 5/10A tragic misalignment of visual style and substance. If artistic rumination on depression, death and loss spark your interest, Dear Esther and The Town of Light do a far better job. But... it IS pretty.
